Recently at the San Francisco Yerba Buena Center, Steve Jobs presented iPad 2. However there are already rumors about an iPad 3. The iPad 2 will kind of be an updated version of the original iPad. The iPad 2 rivals like Android and Samsung are offering advanced technologies on their tablets. Apple is said to be pushing product advancements because of this reason. The iPad 3 might come out as soon as this coming Summer or Fall.
So the question is, what does iPad2 have to offer you? Apple started off by including the final version of iOS 4.3, which features the Nitro Javscript engine from Safari on OS X, new iTunes Home Sharing features that let you play media from your desktop iTunes over WiFi. The iPad 2 also has a new option that lets you assign the side switch to either rotation lock or mute, and it's adding Personal Hotspot support. Two video cameras, one on the front and one on the back for FaceTime and Photo Booth.
Apple is using a new and lighter design that makes the iPad 2 only 590 grams. A very useful ten hours of autonomy with one month standby. And finally a HDMI portal to view high resolution videos on your computer or HDTV with a HDMI hook up. The iPad 2 will come in mostly black and white with possibly five different covers. Apple is dropping the iPad 2 in the States on March 11th and the ROW gets it March 25. Check out a few pics below.
